Gaming and entertainment dominate, but Sah says thanks to abundant available land and a strategic location, Las Vegas is becoming a distribution and warehousing hub. According to Collier’s third-quarter report, southern Nevada’s industrial construction was projected to reach 7.9 million sq ft for 2017, Sah says. Additionally, residential activity remains strong in Henderson and Summerlin. “This is the largest inventory increase yet recorded in southern Nevada, surpassing the booming periods of 2005 and 2006,” he adds.
