Illinois Omni Properties is planning to build Atrium Village, a mixed-use development at the former site of the Cabrini Green housing project. The five-phase development will include 1,500 units grouped in four apartment towers, each between 24 and 44 stories. It will also include a grocery store, a two-acre public park, the Bright Horizons School, 47,000 sq ft of retail space and 1,280 underground parking spaces. The project is valued at $200 million. Maine CPB2 LLC is planning to build a 1.3-million-sq-ft mixed-use development at 58 Fore St., in Portland. The 10-acre property is the former site of the Portland Co., which manufactured locomotives beginning in the 1840s. The project will incorporate facades of the existing historic buildings, resulting in a mix of commercial and residential space, a marina, structured parking, 630 housing units and a 125-room hotel.
