Developers Carpenter & Co. and Woodward Design + Build are working with the city of New Orleans to redevelop the old World Trade Center into a 350-room Four Seasons Hotel, which will also have 76 condos. The city owns the land and will lease it to the developers. The luxury hotel will occupy floors seven through 19, with 76 hotel-serviced condos on floors 21 through 30. The project also includes two new buildings on the northeast and southeast corners of the tower, which will extend over the streetcar and railroad tracks. The project is currently under design, with the construction and bid schedule to be determined. The project is valued at $364 million.
