California People: Construction business updates for April 2016
Ryan Cos. US Inc. hired Ryan Grove as director of development in the West region. Based in San Diego, Grove will be responsible for all aspects of development including site selection and land acquisition, municipal approvals, design and construction coordination and lease or sale negotiations. He has completed more than 700 sale and lease transactions exceeding $800 million in value and 9.2 million sq ft of space. He most recently served as senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle in the San Diego agency division. He received a bachelor’s degree in geoscience from the University of Arizona. An active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, he served as a board member of the San Diego chapter for three years.
T.Y. Lin International has hired Intissar Durham as aviation group leader for the Southwest district. She has specialized in major aviation initiatives since 1988. She previously served as chief airports engineer for Los Angeles World Airports, where she oversaw the $1.5-billion Bradley West Project at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, runway safety area improvements at three airports and new West Aircraft Maintenance Area Improvements at LAX. Durham received a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She is the past director-at-large of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
