In a key executive move, Omaha contracting giant Kiewit has elevated Richard A. “Rick” Lanoha to president and chief operating officer, effective on March 31. In the former role, he succeeds Bruce Grewcock, who remains chairman and CEO. The COO post has been vacant since 2005, when Grewcock became CEO. He added the chairman role in 2012. Lanoha moves to the new role from his current one as president of Kiewit’s energy unit.
U.K.-based Amec Foster Wheeler has named Ann Massey president of its Americas environment and infrastructure unit, based in Atlanta. A spokeswoman says Massey takes the operations role, succeeding Tom Logan, from a prior one as the unit’s global environment and infrastructure market lead. The firm on March 10 reported a loss of about $361 million for 2015, driven by challenges in oil-and-gas services.
