Best Energy/Industrial Project: White Compressor Station
Strategically located in Northeast Pennsylvania—the most active area of natural gas extraction in the Marcellus Shale formation—the Williams White Compressor Station takes gas produced from well pad sites and converts it to a pressure that can be transported through a pipeline to end users in the marketplace.
Working under an aggressive six-month schedule, crews constructed a greenfield compressor and dehydration station with support equipment and fully automated building infrastructure. Work included installation of approximately 700 ft of 24-in. pipeline, including piping modifications to an existing dehydration station inlet to allow for tie-in and isolation.
