Arizona Pima County is planning to build the Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson. The single-story, 25,000-sq-ft building will be constructed on the existing site, located at 4000 N. Silverbell Rd. The facility will incorporate, as needed, improvements to the current structures and eliminate all temporary structures. Line & Space LLC is the designer. Sundt Construction has been selected to serve as the construction manager. The project’s value has been estimated at $15 million. California The California Dept. of Transportation is planning to build a wildlife overpass on the 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills. It will consist of a 165-ft-wide, 200-ft-long landscaped bridge, near Liberty Canyon Road, to provide a wildlife corridor between the Santa Monica Mountains to the south and the Simi Hills and the Santa Susana Mountains to the north.
