Lenox Health Greenwich Village is a 24-hour emergency care center operating within the landmark O’Toole Building, formerly occupied by St. Vincent’s Medical Center. The 160,000-sq-ft building is the first freestanding, 24-hour emergency care department in the New York metropolitan area.
The project’s objective was to restore the historic building while also renovating the structure to be suitable as a care center.
The building features 28,000 sq ft of emergency department services, with 26 exam rooms able to accommodate two patients each, two 23-hour patient rooms and a results waiting area.
