Lightweight Air Compressor: Portable and more new products
Heatlok Soy Insulation is the first of a series of environmentally friendly products that the manufacturer is developing for commercial buildings. It is a rigid, spray-on polyurethane insulating foam that is comprised of more than 20% recycled plastic material and soy. According to the manufacturer, the product can reduce energy waste by up to 50% because it exceeds government performance standards for air barrier materials by as much as 500%. The closed-cell foam expands as it dries to fill the building’s shell to prevent moisture from forming. By filling gaps and cracks in a building’s shell, the foam can lead to reduced heating and cooling costs. Demilec USA; 817-640-4900; www.demilecusa.com
