Parsons Brinckerhoff, riding a jump in revenue and profit from inspecting housing for federal officials following hurricanes in the southeastern U.S., as well as the sale of the PB Farradyne unit for $38 million, reports substantial gains in 2006. PB says it had 2006 net income of $46.4 million, up from $27.2 million in 2005, on revenue of $1.69 billion, up from $1.45 billion. The value of a common share of stock rose 22%, to $68.50.
