Building on experience gained helping the U.S. Air Force devise database services to manage and protect its bases, a Denver engineering, construction and information technology firm has launched a security and crisis management tool for municipalities.
GeoProtect, brought out Sept. 11 by CH2M Hill Inc., consists of software and integration services. It links a client's existing data from geographic information systems, global positioning systems, remote imagery, maps, blueprints, schematics and business and operations data to create a comprehensive information picture that can evolve as conditions change.
