he House has agreed to a Senate bill that would extend the federal terrorism insurance program for seven years. The vote on Dec. 18 was 360-53. The bill goes to President Bush, who is expected to sign it. The House had approved a bill Dec. 12 to expand the program to include group life insurance. But the White House opposed that, and with the program set to expire Dec. 31, House lawmakers decided to back the Senate version.
