New Resort Project Will Add Dazzle to Buffalo’s Skyline
Sosh Architects

The native American Seneca Nation is planning to build a $333-million hotel–and–casino resort complex on a nine–acre site in downtown Buffalo, N.Y. The project is being designed by New York City–based SOSH Architects and will include a 22–story hotel, a 90,000–sq–ft casino, four restaurants, retail stores and a 2,500–vehicle parking garage. The glass hotel tower will be slender and bow–shaped to maximize views of Lake Erie. A stream, flowing from a two–acre outdoor park, will run through the zinc–, glass– and stone–sheathed casino.
