Home » Moscow Skyscraper Will Be One of Europes Tallest
Plans were recently revealed for a proposed 600-meter-tall Moscow City Tower, that would be one of Europe’s tallest buildings. Located in the Russian capital, the 118-floor building would rise from a triangular footprint with diagonal perimeter columns bracing a central core. Designed by London-based Foster and Partners with structural designer Halvorson and Partners, Chicago, the 528,800-sq-m, mixed-use building, will save energy by recycling internally generated heat and exploiting coolness of the soil beneath to regulate temperatures. A construction schedule has not yet been announced.
