Sullivan Land Services Lands Port of Houston Contract
The Port of Houston Authority Port Commission approved a $512,502 construction contract to Houston-based Sullivan Land Services for maintenance dredging at Bayport Wharf No. 3. A hydrographic survey showed that silt accumulation has reduced the berthing depth at the wharf. The required dredging volume is estimated to be 54,000 cu yds.
In other areas, the Port will host the 2014 American Association of Port Authorities annual conference. And, PHA received the Houston-Galveston Area Council’s 2010 Best All-Around Clean Air Leadership Award.
