Grunley to Lead $57.4M Adaptive Reuse Project at St. Elizabeths…
The U.S. General Services Administration has awarded Grunley Construction Co. of Rockville, Md., the $57-million Phase 1B Adaptive Reuse contract as part of the consolidation of the Dept. of Homeland Security at the St. Elizabeths Hospital site in Washington, D.C.
The scope will include the adaptive reuse and historic restoration of six buildings that are part of the original main campus, including the theatre building, the dining hall and kitchen, the ice house, construction shop building, as well as office and conference space in other buildings.
