ARIZONA The City of Yuma has selected Sundt Construction Inc. to provide design-build services for a new 56,000-sq-ft federal courthouse on a 2.8-acre site. The project includes a small parking lot. CALIFORNIA The University of California, Berkeley, has selected Signet Testing Labs Inc. to provide testing and inspection services for the 147,000-sq-ft Anna Head West student housing project. LOUISIANA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded an $11.4-million firm-fixed-price contract to F. Miller Construction LLC for flood protection work. The project will construct a continuous line of hurricane pile-founded reinforced concrete T-wall monoliths across the discharge basin at the Belle Chasse No. 2 pumping station on the east side of the Algiers Canal in Plaquemines Parish. New butterfly gates will be required within the steel discharge tubes. VIRGINIA The Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority has awarded a $10.2-million contract to Fru-Con Construction to expand the Winters Branch pump station in Manassas.
