OHIO The Music Hall Revitalization Co. is planning to renovate the Cincinnati Music Hall, the home of Cincinnati’s symphony orchestra, pops orchestra and opera company. In May, they selected a team led by Ennead Architects (formerly Polshek Partnership Architects of New York) to work on the concept design for the hall’s renovation. A contractor will be selected next year, and construction is expected to be completed by fall 2013. The estimated construction cost is $100 million. ARIZONA Pima County has awarded a $169-million construction management-at-risk contract to MWH Constructors to upgrade the Ina Road Water Pollution Control Facility in Tucson. The project will upgrade treatment capacity to 50 mgd from 37.5 mgd to meet federal standards. The project entails converting existing processes to the Bardenpho process, expanding headworks and installing new primary and secondary clarifiers, new bioreactors and chlorine contact basins.
