ARIZONA The FBI is planning to build an office building in Phoenix. The five-story, 210,000-sq-ft building will be located at the corner of Seventh Street and Deer Valley Road. The General Services Administration chose the Ryan Cos. as the design-builder. Ryan will build and own the $62-million building. GSA, on behalf of the FBI, has signed a 20-year lease. FLORIDA Vercipia Biofuels, a joint venture of BP and Verenium Corp., is planning to build a 275,000-sq-ft cellulosic ethanol plant capable of producing 36 million gallons per year in Highlands County. The plant will convert the sugars in energy cane feedstock into ethanol. Vercipia has contracted with Lykes Bros. to provide the energy cane feedstock and will site the plant in the middle of 20,000 acres east of Brighton where Lykes grows the cane.
