The project will entail converting a former big-box-store building into a 130,000-sq-ft facility, with conference and meeting rooms, a kitchen for catered events, a coffee shop and a computer lab. If all the features are included in the final design, the project will cost $28.5 million. The design work was done by Boultinghouse Simpson Architects, McAllen, and MS&R, Minneapolis.
