The Hitachi Computer Products plant in Norman, Okla., will add 200,000 sq ft to its current facility with a $15-million expansion. Construction started in January. St. Louis-based The Korte Co. is the project’s design-build firm.
Site selection is under way for an $18-million Emergency Services Operations Center in Williamson County. The facility will provide all neighboring emergency personnel, media, and government officials, including Homeland Security, with a protected hub or “war room” in which to respond to any serious disaster.
