In a tight 16.5-acre site located next to a botanical reserve, the Clark Construction Group-led team built the two tallest buildings—17 and 15 stories, respectively—ever constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, together providing 1.75 million sq ft of office space. The $1-billion project also includes two parking structures, a remote inspection facility, a remote delivery facility, a visitors control center and transportation center.
The project increased its sustainability goal to achieve LEED-Gold certification, making it the largest USACE project to attain this level of green certification.
