has joined HNTB Corp.'s Los Angeles office as regional business development leader and vice president in the firm's West division. He brings 32 years of experience in planning and implementation of transportation projects in California and across the U.S., including a decade-long tenure as chief planning officer for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. De la Loza earned a master's degree in architecture and urban design from the University of California, Los Angeles.
In addition, HNTB has hired David Tiberi as regional construction leader and vice president for its Santa Ana office and Shahram Vahdat as group transportation director and vice president for the firm's Los Angeles office.
