Patti Boekamp was named principal program manager/associate vice president for T.Y. Lin International's San Diego office and the southwest district. Boekamp brings more than 27 years of in-depth transportation and capital improvement project delivery experience to the post, with more than 20 of those years spent with the city of San Diego, where she served in various positions, including director of the engineering and capital projects department. She is a registered traffic engineer and has had leading roles with numerous professional organizations, including serving as a founding board member of the California Alliance for Advanced Transportation Systems and an officer for APWA San Diego/Imperial counties.
Guillermo Garcia has been named the Southern California area marketing manager for HDR's Water Business Group. Garcia joined HDR when CGvL Engineers, a company he co-founded, was acquired in 2004. Since that time Garcia has served as both a senior project and client service manager. He has more than 35 years of experience in planning, designing and managing construction of water, recycled water and wastewater facilities. Recently, Garcia has served as project manager for the Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase III A Expansion, the Goleta Sanitary District WWTP Upgrade and the Subregional Water Reclamation Plants for Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority.
