McCarthy Houston Division "The reduction in oil prices is not having an immediate or catastrophic impact to the construction market in Houston," Campbell says. "However, it does appear to be having a slow and steady impact on the demand in the marketplace. Subcontractors whose work normally happens on the front end of projects are seeing less work to bid and are starting to have some concern with a weakening market." McCarthy continues to see sustained growth in the health care renovation and expansion market from all of its health care clients, Campbell adds.
