AECOM Technology Corp., Los Angeles, announced on May 10 that it had acquired INOCSA Ingenieria, a 550-person professional technical and management support services and engineering firm based in Madrid, Spain. INOCSA also has offices in the countries of Romania and Bosnia and provides architecture, design, engineering, program-management and urban-planning services. The acquisition expands AECOM’s footprint in Europe. “INOCSA’s expertise in segments such as transportation—especially high-speed rail, which is a focus for us around the world—energy, environment and water make it a natural fit with AECOM’s worldwide suite of services,” said AECOM CEO John M. Dionisio.
