In the unstable economy, many design firms are receiving mixed messages from the marketplace as sectors such as telecommunications appear poised for a rebound while the manufacturing sector offers little hope on the horizon. After nearly three years in the doldrums, firms in the telecommunications market are eyeing a possible uptick as wireless companies look to speed up their networks and gain an edge on their competition.
