For the second time in 18 months, the House has passed a bill to repeal the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, whose provisions have begun to revamp the U.S. health-care system.
Repeal has little or no chance of passage in the Senate, where Democrats hold the majority. The White House said in a July 9 statement that President Obama would veto the House repeal bill if it were to reach his desk.
