Pennsylvania Erie Indemnity Co. is planning to build a new office building at its home-office campus in downtown Erie. The seven-story, 346,000-sq-ft building will be located on East Sixth Street, next to the historic Erie Insurance Heritage Center. Albert Kahn Associates is the designer, and P.J. Tennessee Nashville’s Metro Public Works agency is planning to build a pedestrian footbridge to connect the Gulch and SoBro neighborhoods, which are divided by CSX rail tracks. Idaho Ormond Builders Inc. has been awarded a $32.2-million contract to build phase two of the Shoshone Bannock Tribe Casino in Fort Hall. Magann Corp. has been awarded a $17.4-million firm-fixed-price contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command to repair steel-and-concrete sheet-pile bulkheads and the pile fendering system at the Norfolk Naval Station. The work will include installing a steel sheet-pile fascia wall in front of the existing bulkhead as well as bulkhead toe stabilization.
