Jeffrey R. MarrsJeffrey R. Marrs was elected president and CEO of ACCO Engineered Systems, effective Jan. 2. Marrs most recently served as president of ACCO’s Mechanical Construction Group. He succeeds John Aversano, who served in the role of president and CEO for 25 years and remains board chairman. Since joining ACCO as a design engineer in 1983, Marrs has been involved in all facets of its diversified operations, including serving on its board of directors, chairing its operations committee and serving on its ethics committee.


Dawn M. BridgesDawn M. Bridges was hired by Irvine-based KTGY Architecture + Planning as director of information technology. She most recently served as global program manager for enterprise application services at Jacobs and previously spent 12 years working at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott. 
 


Ken Filar has joined HDR as a principal laboratory planner in the firm’s architecture practice. He will be based in San Francisco and will support clients around the globe. A 30-year design veteran, Filar founded and coached a world champion high school robotics team and is a visiting scientist with MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center.


Steven GreeneSteven Greene joined HNTB Corp.’s West division transit practice as associate vice president and group director, planning. He will be responsible for the development and support of the firm’s expanding multimodal transit planning practice, focusing on transit and corridor studies. Greene is based in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office.
