Don-SepulvedaMichael Baker International appointed Don Sepulveda as vice president and rail and transit practice lead for the firm’s West region, based in Los Angeles. He also will serve as senior project manager on select projects. For the last five years, he served as executive officer of regional rail for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), where he developed a $2.5-billion rail program. Sepulveda also is a member of American Railroad Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association committees on commuter/intercity and high-speed rail systems.Susan-Suhar

HDR’s Los Angeles architecture studio has hired Susan Suhar as an interior design director. She is a former vice president of partnership for the Illinois chapter of the International Interior Design Association.

Indrajit-ObeysekereReal estate development firm Meridian hired Indrajit Obeysekere as vice president of client services, where he will help lead business development and facility acquisition for the firm’s health care group. Obeysekere previously spent more than 25 years in leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, most recently as vice president, corporate real estate. He is a graduate of UCLA Law School.

Bob-LinfordGiroux Glass Inc. has named Bob Linford to the newly created position of vice president, California operations. He will supervise functions from the field to the firm’s offices in Los Angeles and Fresno as well as at the Giroux Glass San Bernardino fabrication facility. An employee with the company for more than 10 years, Linford previously held the title of director, commercial contracts.
