Iowa Blackbird Investments is planning to convert the former St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa into the Vogel Building Apartments. North Carolina The North Carolina Dept. of Transportation is planning to build the Mid-Currituck Bridge. The seven-mile-long, two-lane toll bridge will span Currituck Sound between Coinjock and the community of Corolla on the Outer Banks. As the second crossing of Currituck Sound, situated 15 miles north of the existing Wright Memorial Bridge, it will help to alleviate congestion and, in the event of a hurricane or severe storm, improve the flow of evacuation traffic.
