Multibay Battery Charger: Durable

Hilti has expanded its options for battery charging with the C4/36-MC4 Multibay Charger. The charger can hold four batteries at a time and has a “smart charger” filter that charges the first battery placed on the charger completely before charging the rest in sequence. Inspection Camera: Rotatable Head

The M-Spector Flex inspection camera features a 3-ft flexible cable with a pivoting camera head. Images are displayed on a wireless 3.5-in. display with a resolution of 640 x 480. The camera head can be rotated 270° using a dial control, allowing for quick realignment of the view. A 9-ft-cable version of the camera is available. Drill Driver Kit: Brushless Motor

Makita’s 12V CXT series of drill and impact drivers boasts new features, including slide-style batteries and brushless motors. The Makita 12V battery platform is available in 2.0- or 4.0-amp-hour capacities, and the latter is also available with a built-in LED charge indicator. Brushless motors can be found on a drill driver and hammer-drill driver. Vibratory Roller: More Fuel-Efficient Startup

The Dynapac CA2500 Single-Drum Vibratory Roller features several design changes that, compared to earlier models, reduce energy consumption at startup by 50%. Eccentric weights have been placed toward the right of the axle, reducing the amount of power necessary to get the roller moving; this results in a smoother startup, even with a smaller engine.
