WISCONSIN American Transmission Co. is planning to construct the Spring Valley/North Lake Geneva Electric Reliability Project. The project entails building a new 25-mile 138-kV transmission line from the existing North Lake Geneva substation in southern Walworth County to the existing Spring Valley Substation in western Kenosha County. It also includes a new substation near Twin Lakes and a new 69-kV transmission line between the new substation and the existing substation in Twin Lakes.
