The Walsh Group has added Jessica Murray as vice president of strategic initiatives for the firm’s building division. She brings 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including the last 16 years spent at Skanska USA, where her roles spanned across marketing, communications, business development, public affairs and strategic planning for the construction and development groups.

Professional Service Industries Inc. (PSI) has hired Michael Mueller as staff engineer in its Waukesha, Wis., office. He earned his master’s degree in geological engineering from Michigan Technological University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Amy Trygestad has joined CTLGroup as a principal engineer in the Minneapolis area. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry to her new role. Trygestad was elected as a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute in 2014 and actively serves on several committees. She earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.

MWH Global has promoted David Goldwater to vice president, client service leader and regional sales manager. Based in Indianapolis, he will be responsible for business development, planning and strategy in the firm’s northeast and east regions. Goldwater has nearly 20 years of experience in the infrastructure consulting, construction and technology industries. He currently serves as MWH liaison for the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, the U.S. Water Alliance, the National League of Cities and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Goldwater has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University.

MWH has also promoted Willian Akaishi to vice president and principal electrical engineer. Based in Milwaukee, Akaishi has more than 29 years of experience as an electrical engineer, specializing in hydropower generation and generation equipment. Akaishi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of São Paulo in Brazil.

Tom Marquardt joins HDR’s Chicago office as design principal. With 29 years of experience, he previously led his own successful interdisciplinary design and branded environments studio in Chicago, which he founded in 1988. Prior to that, he worked for two firms designing corporate and commercial interior projects. Marquardt serves as an International Interior Design Association Annual Student Design Charrette co-founder and judge, and he is also an adjunct professor at the Harrington College of Design in Chicago.

Byrne & Jones Construction has added Matt Hicks and David Baalman as project managers and estimators for the St. Louis-based firm’s sports division, which serves elementary, secondary and higher education as well as professional sports teams and sports organizations. Hicks holds a degree in construction management from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., while Baalman has a degree in construction management from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Michelle Golightly has joined Air Masters in St. Louis as an account manager. Golightly has 10 years of experience working in the construction industry. She is a graduate of Metro Business College.

Tubelite Inc. has hired Tim Salach as vice president of finance in its Walker, Mich., headquarters. Salach replaces Gary Potter, who retired in June after 26 years. Salach had been chief financial officer at Adam Nutrition Inc. in California. Before that, he was CFO at Brandimage-Desgrippes & LAGA in Cincinnati.
