California Eagle Crest Energy Co. is planning to construct the 1,300-MW Eagle Mountain pumped storage hydroelectric project in Riverside County. The project entails using excavated mine pits as reservoirs and storing water in the upper reservoir for later release to an underground powerplant to generate electricity, then capturing the water in the lower reservoir. IllinoiS Heritage Enterprises plans to build Evergreen Place, an assisted-living community, on a six-acre site in Normal. The project includes a 73-unit community, with 53 assisted-living units and 20 memory-care studio apartments. The assisted-living units will comprise studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with a kitchenette. The project will also include a community dining room, a beauty salon, an exercise room and sitting areas for socializing and entertainment.
