Corgan Associate’s Dallas office announced three new associates to add to its team of professionals with expertise in aviation and interior design. Dan Hursin, Ginger Gee and Shelly Nichols were promoted to associate. Gee received a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Harding University in Arkansas and received her master’s of architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington.

STG Design in Austin announced the promotion of two team members, PollyAnna Little and Jeff Ervin. Little has been promoted to principal and Ervin to associate principal. Little is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. As principal, she will be responsible for managing major interior design projects and production activities. Ervin received his bachelor’s of architecture technology from Memphis State University and a master’s in architecture from the University of Tennessee.

LJA Engineering Inc. announced that Zhanfei “Tom” Fan, PhD, PE, joined the firm as a senior structural engineer in the West Houston office. Fan is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Ph.D. in civil/structural engineering. Also, Jack E. Shick, PE, PTOE, joined as a project manager. Shick is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a BS in civil engineering.

Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford in Fort Worth added Gary Ryan, AIA, NCARB, as senior project manager. Ryan is a graduate of Texas A&M University. In addition, Jill Hair, RID, IIDA, has been appointed director of associates for the Texas/ Oklahoma Chapter Board of International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and will also serve as the Fort Worth Membership Chair for the Dallas Fort Worth City Center.

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. in Houston selected Jon D. Jelinek, P.E., as team leader of its Facilities Business Group. In this role, he is responsible for the overall management and operations of the firm’s mechanical/HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural and fire protection engineering departments. Jelinek holds a bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from Texas Tech University and a master’s of science in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Holt Cat named Chad Godfrey service manager for its San Antonio store. Godfrey received an associate’s degree in applied science in diesel and construction equipment mechanics from Texas State Technical Institute in Waco. In his new position, Godfrey will be responsible for overseeing HOLT’s San Antonio store service operation.

Global Crane Sales added Mike Liu as the Houston team’s as the corporate service manager.

Hoar Construction’s Houston office congratulates Brian Benefiel on his recent promotion to director of preconstruction services for the Texas Division. In this role, Benefiel will assist owners with coordinating their preconstruction needs, including design consultation, cost estimating and lifecycle analysis. Benefiel received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology in construction management from the University of Houston.

Hill & Wilkinson in Dallas announced that Bill Reeves, CSP, joined as director of safety and risk management. Reeves’ appointment follows the retirement of Hill & Wilkinson’s long-time safety director, Larry MacDonald. Reeves holds a bachelor’s of arts degree and a master’s of arts degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Louisiana Tech University. In addition, Joe Tracy joined as director of construction in the Austin office. In his new role, Tracy will be responsible for the overall construction management of Hill & Wilkinson’s projects in the Central Texas region. Tracy holds a bachelor’s of science degree in building construction management from Purdue University.

SpawGlass in San Antonio announced that Robert “Chris” Tisdel joined as BIM technologist. Tisdel holds a master’s of science in architecture from Texas Tech University.

UniversalPegasus International in Houston named Gary Hymel as the onshore director of Business Development. Hymel is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He will be responsible for all UniversalPegasus domestic onshore business development.

Stanley Consultants named Patrick Smith, RPLS, manager of the Austin office and Charles Wirtanen, PE has been promoted to manager of the office’s Site/Civil Department. As office manager, Smith is responsible for management of the office’s land development and infrastructure business and operations.
