Cadence McShane Construction Co. – with offices in Houston and Dallas – was awarded a 108,800-sq-ft construction project at Santa Fe Junior High School for Santa Fe (Texas) ISD. The assignment includes 99,000 sq ft of reconstruction to the existing single-story brick facility and 9,800 sq ft of new construction.

Houston-based SBWV Architects Inc. is providing the architectural services for the project, which is scheduled for completion in May.

Cadance McShane was also chosen to complete a fa�ade reconstruction job for retailer Whole Foods Market on behalf of Dallas-based developer The MGHerring Group. The market is located at The Village at Fairview, a mixed-use development at U.S. Hwy. 75 and Stacy Road in Fairview.

The 45,000-sq-ft Whole Foods Market will open this fall.

Cadence McShane also completed the new 60,000-sq-ft OakBend Doctors Center – Grand Parkway medical office building. Denver-based Marasco & Associates Inc. and Houston- based Seeberger+Associates made up the architectural team on the project. Contract amounts were not released.
