Featuring structural engineering by Houston-based Walter P Moore, the new home of the Dallas Cowboys in Irving, Cowboys Stadium, won the 2010 “Eminent Conceptor”—the highest award given by the Texas Council of Engineering Companies. The Engineering Excellence Awards program recognizes organizations’ annual outstanding achievements within the engineering community.

A panel of judges selected 12 gold-medal and eight silver-medal winning projects. Cowboys Stadium was the top winner in the category of “Structural Systems,” as well as the top project overall.

Walter P Moore has won a total of nine Eminent Conceptor awards.
