The Dec. 8 awards banquet in Las Vegas featured speaker Matthew O�Brien, who recounted his experiences in the flood tunnels underneath the city for his book Beneath the Neon: Life and Death in the Tunnels of Las Vegas.

Representatives from RSP Architects, Tempe and Ryan Companies US Inc., Phoenix, joined the Musical Instrument Museum’s president and director Bill DeWalt (far right) and chief development officer Christopher Bell (2nd from left) in accepting McGraw-Hill Construction’s Best of 2010 award for Best Cultural Project in Phoenix on Dec. 7th at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix Hotel. Over 200 attendees celebrated the best Arizona projects of the year at the breakfast event. The Musical Instrument Museum moved on to win ENR�s Best of the Best award as the best cultural project in the U.S. Check back in next week’s issue of ENR for more information on the award.
