Utah's Alpine School District required another special needs school. Assisted by funding from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act, the district built a new 30,000-sq-ft building that accommodates students from ages 3 to 22 with the latest in teaching technology.

The design provides for shared, integrated programs for both elementary and special needs students in an innovative and collaborative setting. Warm interior spaces and colors help provide a safe, calm learning environment for students with diverse backgrounds and ability levels.
