The Associated Builders and Contractors Rocky Mountain Chapter held its annual Safety Awards dinner on May 18. More than 160 ABC members and guests attended the event. The awards recognize ABC member companies that have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to the health and safety of their employees.
The safety winners included:

• 150,000 – 350,000 man-hours: Roche Constructors Inc., Greeley
• 350,000 – 750,000 man-hours: (tie), Western Summit Constructors Inc., Denver; and Mortenson Construction, Denver
• Over 750,000 man-hours: (tie) , Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Greeley; and Casey Industrial, Westminster
Outstanding Safety Programs for Subcontractors
• Less than 150,000 man-hours: Metro Fence Co. Inc., Commerce City
• 150,000 – 250,000 man-hours: Greiner Electric LLC, Littleton
• 250,000 – 500,000 man-hours: MTech Mechanical Technologies Group, Westminster
• Over 500,000 man-hours: Douglass Colony Group, Commerce City

• Up to 50 employees Stanek Constructors Inc., Golden
• 50 – 100 employees: Shaw Construction, Denver
