Six construction workers were injured when the scaffolding on the side of a seven-story, 400- unit apartment complex currently under construction collapsed on Friday morning. The incident occurred at the new 500 Crawford development in downtown Houston. The Finger Cos., Houston, is the owner and developer of the property. Houston Fire Dept. units arrived at the scene within three minutes of the collapse and pulled out the six workers. The injured were taken to local hospitals, some with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to HFD.
