Dilip Choudhuri has been chosen as Walter P. Moore's new president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Choudhuri will become the fourth president and CEO in company history. He joined the firm in 2001 and became executive director of diagnostics in 2009.

PETERSEN

Dennis W. Petersen has been promoted to corporate president of LEO A DALY, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including the LEO A DALY and Lockwood Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN) brands. He has been president of LAN for the past 16 years.

Timothy Buscha has been named president of IDS Engineering Group. Buscha has been with IDS for more than 10 years, most recently as senior vice president. Before joining IDS, he worked for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. Buscha succeeds Debra Anglin, president since 2006, who is retiring this year.

Klotz Associates is welcoming four new directors to its board. The directors will serve two-year terms. They are: Steven Pike, manager of the firm's TxDOT Dept.; Gary Struzick, vice president with Klotz Associates; Ricardo Zamarripa, vice president and regional manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of Klotz Associates' offices in Austin and San Antonio; and Kay Lentz, president of The Lentz Group. 

CULBERTSON
David Culbertson has been named president of O'Brien Architects. Culbertson joined the firm in 1985 and most recently served as senior vice president. Jack O'Brien, founder, current president and CEO, will continue as CEO, with the transition allowing him to dedicate more of his time to client relations and design projects.

Rob Hepler has been named senior vice president of sales at H&E Equipment Services, where he will oversee planning and strategy, along with talent and sales development, to assist H&E's ongoing rental growth objectives.

HNTB Corp. has promoted the following executives to vice president: Michelle Dippel, project director; Michael Hegarty, office leader; Angela Stoddard, project manager; Darrin Willer, engineering director; James Frye, project director; and Steven Miller, project director. Department manager Vicente Obregon, aviation group director Scott Slaughter and deputy project manager LeAnne Napolillo are now associate vice presidents.

Jason Travis has been promoted to vice president of GROUP Industries LLC's Houston division. He previously served as the company's Houston division manager. Paul Lambert has been named estimating manager for GROUP Contractors and Arrighi Construction. Lambert previously served as project manager for GROUP Industries.

Good Fulton & Farrell has opened a new office in Fort Worth and has named Ted Gupton as the managing director for the office. This is the firm's seventh architectural studio.

DWYER

Nicholas Dwyer has joined the Houston office of Structure Tone Southwest (STSW) as director of business development. He will lead new business pursuits and client development for STSW in the Houston/Greater Gulf Coast region.

Clay Cockrill has joined Manhattan Construction's Oklahoma City area office as project director.

Brown & Gay Engineers Inc. has promoted Randy Randermann to lead the firm's Houston-area operations. Rodney Heisch has been promoted to director of land development, a position previously held by Randermann.

Joey McWilliams has joined Summit Industrial Construction as regional manager, Gulf Coast operations.

Kent Free was recently promoted to director of business development for estimating and preconstruction at PCL Industrial Construction Co. The firm also hired David Landers Jr. as business development manager for projects in Louisiana.
