AERCO International Inc. has moved its corporate headquarters to 100 Oritani Dr., Blauvelt, N.Y. Previously, the water heater and boiler manufacturing firm operated out of three separate facilities in Northvale, N.J.

VIP Structures Inc., Syracuse, N.Y., has hired Glenn Murdock as safety director. Previously, Murdock worked as safety director for Associated Builders and Contractors, traveling throughout the state to engage in inspecting and training at contractor worksites.

Aine Brazil, vice chairman and managing principal of Thornton Tomasetti, New York, was honored by Real Estate Forum as part of its annual Women of Influence feature. Brazil was one of 51 selected out of more than 200 initial nominations. She is currently responsible for the design and construction of high-rise offices, residential buildings, mixed-use projects, hotels, air-rights projects, hospitals and parking garages. Some of her most recent contributions include the Hudson Yards project and Eleven Times Square in New York City.

STV Group, New York, has appointed Dominick M. Servedio as executive chairman. He will focus on seeking long-term strategic business opportunities and expanding the firm's markets.

LeChase Construction Services LLC, Rochester, N.Y., has promoted Thomas C. Sisson from project manager to project executive.

Dennis C.K. Poon, vice chairman of Thornton Tomasetti, New York, has been named to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's board of trustees. He will be inducted to the board on Oct. 11 in Seoul, South Korea, in conjunction with the CTBUH 2011 World Conference. Poon has been responsible for the design and construction of super-tall structures, mixed-use buildings, hotels, airports, arenas and residential buildings worldwide throughout his 30-year career. His résumé includes New York's City's World Financial Center.

New York City Buildings Dept. Commissioner Robert LiMandri has appointed Fred S. Mosher Jr. to the senior position of deputy commissioner of buildings development. In this newly created role, Mosher will focus on streamlining construction project approvals at the Dept. of Buildings. Previously, Mosher served as a senior technical architect at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, New York.

Gannett Fleming Engineers, Harrisburg, Pa., has hired Jeffrey G. Butler and Vincent J. Frisina as vice presidents of both Gannett Fleming Engineers and Gannett Fleming Engineers and Architects. Butler and Frisina will be based in the firm's Woodbury, N.Y., office.
