Locating Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch Restaurant and Museum on the seventh floor of Water Tower Place, one of Chicago's premier shopping destinations, required tight coordination with dozens of existing tenants, given the need to share vertical transports for delivery of materials and supplies.

The completed design suspends wood and metal trellises from an open ceiling, with track lighting and exposed ductwork further enhancing the facility.

The completed design suspends wood and metal trellises from an open ceiling, with track lighting and exposed ductwork further enhancing the 23,000-sq-ft Caray's Celebrity Hall, main dining area and semi-private dining area. Custom drum fixtures made of metal mesh and illuminated by filament bulbs are intended to promote scale and harmony throughout the spaces. The addition of large windows provides sweeping views of the lakefront.
