Finally, Dan Kulka with Kiewit highlighted the highly successful efforts undertaken to complete the highly publicized I-405 shutdown project, otherwise known as “Carmageddon.”

The association’s Fall Conference also featured a variety of social and networking events, including golf and croquet as well as a welcome reception and a Friday dinner.

The upcoming year promises to be another busy one for AGC of California. Among the highlights, the association will hold its first quarter board meetings and new officers' installation dinner Jan. 26 and 27 at the Sheraton in Sacramento; the 2012 Constructor and Achievement Awards Banquet April 14 at the Fairmont, San Francisco; the AGC Spring Conference Meetings & Conference May 1-5 in Monterey; and the 2012 Fall Board Meetings & Conference in Indian Wells Oct. 23-27, 2012.
