Having worked on more than 100 projects at more than 35 Alaskan airports, Johnathan Limb currently serves as aviation division manager for designer Stantec's Alaska and Pacific Northwest operations. When the Federal Aviation Administration determined that runway surface pavement at Juneau International Airport's lone runway was failing, its findings threatened access to Alaska's capital. In just six months, Limb and his colleagues devised a plan to close the runway and convert its taxiway to a replacement while renovations occurred. Limb has been involved with the Anchorage School District's Step Up Program, which assists troubled youth.
