The facility is the subject of a National Labor Relations Board complaint, issued in April 2011, which seeks to prevent Boeing from locating the 787 production line at the new facility. A joint venture of BE&K Building Group and Turner Construction Co., Greenville, S.C., is nearing completion of the 692,000-sq-ft facility, which started construction in November 2009.
